Workshop for Actors
Subject: “The Protagonist” | On Aristotle’s Poetics
THE WORKSHOP
This workshop is exclusively for professional actors who want to work on classic texts with a modern technique in acting, movement and voice. Its theme is designed to teach the peculiarity of the stage necessities, namely the relationship between the Protagonists and the Chorus, found in classical Greek literature and Aristotle’s Poetry.
The workshop has three courses, Acting, Motion and Voice / Song.
PROJECT
With the three dramatic tools, Acting, Motion and Voice, participants will work on their technical training and final presentation at the end of the workshop. Each lesson is given a different day in the week.
PARTICIPANTS
The conditions for participation are:
A. Be the graduate of a drama school in Greece or abroad
B. Has participated in at least one work of classical theatrical literature
C. Be over 24 years old
D. Speak English well
ABSENCESParticipants can be absent total of 6 hours (3 two-hour courses) throughout the program.
